Sizzling fun day brings out the crowds
It's a kinda magic at Simpsons
It was certainly a success. Saturday the 12th June brought crowds of motorists and motor caravan enthusiasts to Simpsons' Motor Group's OPEN DAY in Great Yarmouth.
With entertainment provided by Beach FM Radio, Excelsior Jazz trio an amazing magician and the staff of Simpsons, everyone had a fun day out.
"It gives motorists and motor caravan owners a chance to view our vehicle stock without having to rush off site, "said an elated Managing Director, Andrew Aldis. "They really enjoyed the refreshments and relaxed atmosphere permeating across our forecourts," he added.
Everyone I spoke to enthused about the light-hearted and non-pressurised selling Simpsons staff adopted on the day.

"We want everyone to have a good time," added director Belinda Crick. "All our sales staff are there to help and to advise visitors about enjoying their motor caravan leisure time," she interjected.
Having spent two hours photographing the milling crowds, I was amazed at how many people attended. I was amazed when I discovered many had travelled from Essex and beyond.
"We cater for 800 plus visitors," Andrew told me, "they love every minute of it."
If Simpsons' sizzling BBQ fun day is a reflection of their attitude towards motorists and motor caravan enthusiasts throughout Norfolk and East Anglia, let the music play on as I think it's a fantastic way of showing customers how much they are respected by a Motor Group supplier like Simpsons.

FORECOURT EXPANSION IS COMPLETED
As part of Simpsons Motor Caravan Centre's investment in improving customer services, we acquired land adjacent to our Suffolk Road Motor Caravan Showroom site in 2009 with a view to increasing the motorhomes on display and expanding access space around each vehicle for viewing purposes.
The land was completely overgrown and needed a civil engineering construction company to clear the overgrowth, prepare all drainage, lay substantial foundations and build the new brick weave forecourt, together with new security fencing.
Before the work commenced it looked like a nature reserve.
Now look at the difference!
We are delighted with the final results of our investment, which has already had favourable feedback from a continual stream of motorhome enthusiasts visting the site already.

In three successive years, Simpsons Motor Caravan Centre in Suffolk Road, Great Yarmouth, have won coveted MMM Eastern Dealer of the Year Silver and Gold Awards.
The competition, organised by MMM (the UK's number one Motor Caravan Magazine) and run in association with The Caravan Club, is in its fifth year and recognises the best of the motorhome industry at an annual ceremony held at the Dorchester Hotel in the heart of London's Mayfair.
Simpsons took Silver in 2009, having preceded this in 2008 with Gold and Silver in 2007.

2008 EASTERN DEALER of the YEAR
The 2008 MMM Awards Ceremony, was recently held at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham, and Simpsons Motor Caravan Centre in Great Yarmouth was named Eastern Dealer of the Year.
Readers of MMM magazine had been asked to nominate which dealers they thought had consistently offered a great experience in terms of advice, sales and after-sales support. Their comments and suggestions - together with the expert knowledge of MMM's panel of judges- had culminated in Simpsons securing the top Eastern Dealer Award.
Our Group Managing Director, Andrew Aldis, was somewhat surprised and obviously elated with the unexpected MMM Award.
